or is that just a dance for the old folks?
Nope, its for people of all ages
Safe travels-- watch the weather.Waiting for my flight to St. Louis. Back to Boston Friday night.
Will walk over to the office once I drop off my bag at the hotel. Work for a bit then grab some dinner. Homework after that.
I finished reading The Lovely Bones and The Dark Net on the weekend. I hope the Dark Net gets adapted into a screenplay and film. It was endorsed by Dean Koontz and Peter Straub. The author also makes a reference to Lock & Key by Joe Hill in the novel.
I also started watching Suits to find out more about the chick who's marrying Prince Harry. She seems like a nice person and reminds me a lot of myself. I hope that show doesn't make me want to become a lawyer again. I took almost a dozen courses at a technical institute and was 2 steps away from receiving a certificate as a legal assistant before I had to move. It's too late for me to become a lawyer and I don't have the money for law school. Maybe in my next life.
Ghost Story was pretty good if I remember correctly.hmm i may have to pick up that book. i love locke and key. it is awsome. i whould like to read straub, but do not know where to start with him

Today I took the Durango in for body work repairs which were covered by our insurance. They figure it will take at least a week to repair the bumper, refinish and repaint plus put the clear coat etc.
Now I'm planning to go to the library to return some books and pick up a few more that are being held for me.
It's another cold one here - minus 17 with the wind chill again.
Ottawa? I lived there for a few years - it's a nice city. But I thought you lived across the river in Quebec? Do you speak any French?Grrrr, 1 in Ottawa, but we got freezing rain and show in the forecast... glad we still have the winter tires on.

Ottawa was great for family activities like skating on the Rideau Canal.
Lucky you! My Dad was French but back then in the 60s it was not considered all that important to be bilingual. I did pick it up quite quickly when I took a six month course in St. Jean Quebec, because I heard him speak to my grandfather exclusively in French when I was young.I grew up and still work in Ottawa, I live just across the river in Gatineau. It’s considered the Ottawa region though. I’m completely bilingual, my mother tongue is French, but I learned both French and English at the same time.
