No wonder you were disappointed. Should have gone to Disney World in Florida!
Top 10 Differences Between Disney World and Disneyland – How To Disney

p.s. you know I'm teasing you, right?;;D
Oooops - did I screw that up :a11:?

It was way back in 1989 and my son Josh was only 3. We left him with his grandparents in Spring Hill Florida and went to Disney World and Epcot Centre.

I remember feeling so dumb going through It's a Small World without our son. The best part of the whole place (for me) was an island that had parrots on it. They took you to it on a boat.

It was okay I guess but it did not live up to all the hype.

We did enjoy going to the Canadian Pavilion as when we asked for a cup of tea, we got a proper cup of tea in a teapot, with the bag inside and with boiling water.

Every other place we had been to on our trip tried to give us cold tea or if they attempted a hot tea they screwed it up badly. :biggrin2:

That's the problem with growing up with a Scottish mother - that whole tea ritual thing becomes important to you.

I would actually go again (if I got a free trip) - who wouldn't, right?

We saw "Captain EO" in 3D with Michael Jackson :icon_eek:

It’s pretty hard to win these types of contests.

Maybe you could try again some time in the future.

Sorry you are disappointed but to be honest I found Disneyland in Florida to be less exciting than anticipated.

Maybe I’m just weird or strange.
You didn't do it right! ;;D I love Disneyworld in Florida!! Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom.......the shows, the rides!!!
Drinking around the world was fun, too. .....you gotta go with me next time!!! :biggrin2:

I love, love love Disney World!!! I went once as a kid of 10 or so, but when my daughter was 5 we took her and have been back about every 2 years. Due for a visit next year, hopefully once the new Star Wars section is open. I swear, I instantly regress into a kid the moment I get close to that place.

So DisneyLand in California came first and Walt was not amused by all of the hotels and crap that sprung up around it. When planning Disney World in Florida, he secretly bought up 43 miles of land that DW now rests on. Once you cross this point...

you're in the bubble.

So, when most folks say Disney World, they are thinking of the Magic Kingdom. This is where Cinderella's Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, Main Street, U.S.A, Haunted Mansion, etc. are located and it has many of the same rides found at Disneyland. There are actually three other theme parks that make up Disney World: Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. Also, there are 2 water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and Disney Springs, which is a huge area with restaurants, hotels, live entertainment, rides, shopping, etc., etc. We usually spend a day just hanging out there.

Anyway, like the spoiler advertised, more than you probably cared to know. But if anyone does ever have a DW related question, I'm happy to answer.

BTW, this is my daughter and me on our last trip, while meeting Chewbacca!

Took my car to emissions. So I could renew my plates. Did not pass emissions,so dropped it off at the shop. Waiting to hear what's wrong with it. Tomorrow hoping will have all paperwork for insurance company and the bathroom can become a done deal deal soon. Hope the week ends better than it started.

Speaking just for Maine, emissions testing is only required in one county whether gas or diesel and the rest of the state only has to have an annual exam of the car for safety features to make sure it's in safe operating condition.

Okey and thank you.

Sounds like our Tuev (TechnicalControl Board)

In addition to the Emissions there is an exam of the Car , as you said, to make sure it's in safe operating condition
