Just so thankful you are all safe. Calming vibes for all.Getting things back to normal. Did not have to drive son to school. As the Waffle House shooter was picked up yesterday. So hopefully the schools no longer are on lock in. This happen to close for comfort.

Was talking to one of my staff today and we ended up trying to figure out in the event of a disaster who would get eaten first to allow the rest of us to survive.
Things are different in our office.

Back from Vegas huh.... so are you a millionaire now? (Welcome back)
Today I didn’t dare take the stroller. Had a 2 year old walking. It was about 8 blocks total to get to and from the school.
Called the city and they said they were currently cleaning sidewalks in my neighbourhood. It was done by 3 when I returned to the school.
Apparently our mayor felt clearing bike trails was priority over sidewalks and side street roads.
Work, family stuff, then studying for a math test--trying to test out of 1010, so I can go right in to 2010 (Arithmetic for Teachers). Why I have to prove that I can do college algebra in order to take a basic math class is beyond me. My initial, unproctored test placed me in 1010, but that isn't good enough--I have to test higher than that in order to skip it. Anyway, my brain is fried. I haven't done college algebra since high school (and that was when the dinosaurs roamed). Still, having worked with 6th and 7th graders on math this last year has put me FAR ahead of where I would have been if I hadn't done so Always looking for the bright side!
