Fourth hotel in eight nights between Seoul and Taipei. Work out the wazoo, lots of demands. Hence my absence from here, which I'm sure has been enjoyable for you guys. Flying to a Pacific island tomorrow to hunker down for more work. That'll be about a week and a half, and I'm hoping to have a little time for myself.

Part of me thinks that this schedule is packing life tight, getting more experience out of it. The rest of me knows that I'm too old for this crap.

Safe travels, and may all the business requirements fall into place.

Took my car to emissions. So I could renew my plates. Did not pass emissions,so dropped it off at the shop. Waiting to hear what's wrong with it. Tomorrow hoping will have all paperwork for insurance company and the bathroom can become a done deal deal soon. Hope the week ends better than it started.
Got my car back to the tune of $800. It was the Catalytic Converter. Now I must drive it a while before it will pass emissions. The computer must reset. However, this time I must pat the emissions fee again. Cause no one told me and I took the car back and failed again.I have all the luck.

Car trouble is so stressful. Hang in there.

Just glad it is over with. Just have to drive around this weekend and should pass emissions next time. Thanks guys
When I went out to Alberta back in 1990 they were sort of rebellious or something out there. The guy at the garage told me (quite proudly) I disconnected your catalytic converter :umm:

So for the next few years until the car was written off by a hail storm I had to put up with the smell, plus I was asked a couple of times if I had a diesel engine due to the noise.

The guy was just trying to save me some gas money :facepalm_smiley:

So, at least you can be happy that you're not polluting the environment or contributing to global warming :biggrin2: - not much comfort I guess :broke: - sounds like it's a necessary evil :)
