Today was the third day I was in pain, so I decided to do something about it.

Two consultations later and some assertive action later, I've been home for a while now with bloody gauze in my mouth and having had a protein shake and pureed chicken-n-noodle soup (seriously - pureed chicken-n-noodle soup?) for dinner. The pain wasn't better for a while, but now with the help of ibuprofen and acetaminophen and a nap, it's pretty well gone.

Grandma is fussing over me too much, of course. Earth Nature Mother. That's what she does.

And now I'm even further behind on work. Hmph.
(((Grandpa))) Healing vibes!!!

I had TMJ surgery when I was 17. Jaws wired shut for 5 1/2 weeks. It was supposed to be 6 weeks, but I was going to my grandma's and it was Thanksgiving, so I begged him to let me loose early! Grandma made me my very own pot of chicken and dumplings - not pureed!! But during those 5 1/2 weeks I had many interesting concoctions, including a cheeseburger! My mom is awesome! :love_heart: Hope you feel better soon!!

That’s how my cats are. Especially Hobbes, who always forgets his manners when waiting in line for the food bowl, my other two wait their turn to get to the front of the line but he with his sky high ego walks up to the front and bites whoever it is.

We had a cat named Hobbes once. He was a grey and black striped tiger cat. He was a punk! He would try and steal blueberry muffins out of your hand (or mouth) while you were eating them. God help you if you had a bowl of ice-cream He'd be all up in that. We had his brother, Herbie, for many years after he passed. Herbie lived to be 18. Oldest cat I've had. He was awesome.

I had a cat who lived to be 18, and my other one who isn’t alive anymore lived to 17, she was my favorite. Out of the cats I have right now there’s:

Meowy (Age 11) is the lone wolf
Hobbes (2 next month) is the punk
Calvin (Hobbes’ litter mate, also almost two) is the sweet natured one.

\w\ They call me the working SwiftDog, I guess that's what I am......... \w/

Bunch of meetings this afternoon. homework (boo!), BrodyDog walks, then hopefully watch the Red Sox clinch the AL East title. Don't want to get swept in NY. That might give those pinstriped clowns the idea that they can beat the A's in the wildcard game

Spending my day doing paperwork and tracking down medical records that noone seems to have. Making myself crazy. Getting overwhelmed by all the phone calls Iam making and are leading to no where.
Have a friend going through same issue trying to get approval for renewal of needed medication. Sending you serenity and guidance to find a ll needed paperwork.

Mine is 14 years worth of records for my son . They need to do some testing and most the medical records are gone due to doctors closing their practices.
Just not right--- when a practice closes all medical records should be given to the patient / guardian. One could not believe the folders/ binders of medical records I had for my mom when she moved down. Hope some solution can be found. (((KFF)))

That's frustrating. :disturbed:
I hope you can find the right person or the right link in the chain of command and you find his medical records soon.
