According to Wikipedia for the exact birth date and year I was born, there is not one historical event, birth or death that took place on that day. I am truly special!
They went through it with no problem. A little rough at times but they said it was actually much better then local authorities were fearing. Other parts of the DR were hit hard but not so much the protected cove all the boats headed to. They did say they were thankful they stocked up on supplies beforehand because they're hard to get on the mainland right now.
