Hey guys and gals! I'd love some help from all of you suggesting my next book to read. I'm going on vacation and plan on putting my feet up and reading my favorite author. I'm looking to read something awesome and exciting, preferably a novel or novella rather than a short story collection. Below is the exact order (of novels) of what I've read so far. (yes I'm a nerd). I literally just put The Wizard and Glass down. So based upon what I've read so far I'd love your analysis! Insomnia? The Talisman? The Green Mile? What!!??

Please recommend! Thanks!!

Salem's Lot
Carrie
IT
The Shining
Doctor Sleep
The Stand
The Dead Zone
On Writing
Firestarter
The Gunslinger
The Drawing of the Three

Joyland
Mr. Mercedes
Finders Keepers
Pet sematary
Duma Key

I'm reading The Talisman for the 3rd or 4th time, so that'd be nice, we could play Book Club and discuss it, or you could always read the King books you haven't in chronological order.

Have you read Different Seasons? That is a great set of novellas, can't go wrong there! There are some oldies like "Cujo" you appear to not have read, either. Pick up "Cujo" and you won't be able to put it down.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I decided to go with GNTLGNT ’s idea. The Talisman is fantastic so far and I’m enjoying my vacation. (Also needed a break from the Tower after the epic Wizard and Glass)

Follow up question- When I return to the Tower journey after Talisman and Blackhouse should I go Wolves or Keyhole? (I know it’s kind of my choice but curious to what you guys think)

Read the journey as published--- would highly suggest continue with Wolves. After you complete the series, think of TWTTK as a reunion with old friends gathered together telling stories.

If you are going to be drinking beach mimosas then I'd suggest 'Archie and Jugheads Summer Spectacular Double Digest'. If sober then, in my opinion, a good beach read would be 'Duma Key'. Have a nice vacation!
I am now a sober person and Duma Key would have been perfect but I already read it! I’m well into the Talisman journey and back in lovely Brooklyn weather. Thanks!
