Iam looking for the blue cover. Are used book store is huge and they carry both pbs and hcs.

We have a few Used Book Stores in the city. The best one is about 1 1/2 miles up the street next to me. No idea what they charge for p/b's but h/c's start at $8.00.
Really nice store, big and organized. The lady who runs it is one unhappy gal and takes it out on everyone. I will take a look for the blue cover for you.

My latest finds from this past weekend:
View attachment 27115
The Long Walk is a Turtleback hardcover. Jaws is a book club edition (giving it to a friend). The Glass Inferno is an unread 1st printing.
I love those Turtleback Stephen King books. We used to order for the library. Is it an ex--library copy? Nice haul...once again.

I'm here to help! Another household tip I find useful - when things get too filthy, move to a different place.

Absolutely! The last time I was in there when I went up to the counter to pay for my books, I smiled and said 'aren't you a little ray of sunshine today'.
I couldn't believe her answer. She said 'damn straight, who else in their right mind would work here for $25/hour and only (ONLY) a 75% discount
on my purchases'. I told her I would.

No kidding! I was told that one of the wealthy owns the store and she runs it AND has 2 employees to do th lifting and stocking of the shelves. I guess she is a
fanatic when it comes to how those shelves are set up. Have to admit she knows what she is doing, everything is easy to find and well marked shelves.
