What weird or unusual habits do you have? What strange behavior do you witness in others?

Me, I found out long ago that if I'm fully awoken, I dare not go back to sleep right away or I will, without fail, have nightmares. Every time. If I only half-wake and stumble to the bathroom, no problem. I can fall back out. But let a ten pound cat step on my eye in the middle of the night, waking me all the way up in a hurry, I'm up for good. Don't know why, it's just always been so.

Ha - I am so weird I think I'm normal, but a few of my quirks that I'm willing to share:

I can't stand to have long fingernails - my nails are as short as they can be without being painful. I use my hands a lot and don't like for my fingernails to have anything under them, on them, don't like for them to be long enough to break or split. I just can't stand fingernails.

I can't stand wearing shoes - I love looking at them and I love stylish ones, esp boots, but I will be wear them to work or out of the house, but I keep flip flops and slippers (for when I wear tights) at my desk and take my shoes off as soon as I get inside my office. I even Zumba barefoot. I can't spin barefoot yet, but I do take off my tennis shoes as soon as the bike is over and we start strength training.

Shoes and fingernails - who needs 'em?

I alphabetize my books by author and then place each book in reverse chronological order. My movies are kind of done the same way except they are just alphabetized by title instead of by director. Those double or triple features that contain multiple titles get on my nerves because it kind of throws a kink in my system.

But my CDs are thrown about everywhere in no particular order.

Oh, and I watch anime. A lot. Maybe not as much as some people (since I have a job and do leave my house on occasion), but definitely more than most anime fans.

I think I have watched forty shows so far this year and the year is not over yet. :m_shy:

I think that qualifies as a weird habit, lol. But I am okay with it.
I have a 20 year old son who not that long ago was into anime stuff. And, to try to stay connected with him, I would watch these shows with him because he would ask me to. I can't remember which damn one it was, but this character had to run a road in the sky that he ran on I swear for 50 episodes. running, running, running. I thought I was going to vomit. But I hung in there for as long as I could because I love my kid. I don't know if the character ever found what he was looking for, I think I died somewhere between uphill and downhill.

Sounds like Dragonball Z. That's my first thought. Since it did take the main character thirteen episodes to reach the end of a road that did happen to be in the sky. And then he had to run back, lol. Only took him eight episodes to get back, though.

And it is a really long show at 297 episodes that most younger males like when they first get into anime. So that is my guess.
