I have a 20 year old son who not that long ago was into anime stuff. And, to try to stay connected with him, I would watch these shows with him because he would ask me to. I can't remember which damn one it was, but this character had to run a road in the sky that he ran on I swear for 50 episodes. running, running, running. I thought I was going to vomit. But I hung in there for as long as I could because I love my kid. I don't know if the character ever found what he was looking for, I think I died somewhere between uphill and downhill.

You're a real trooper, Dana Jean! Right now my son's playing a CD he wants me to hear-- some rapper guy named Mims-- and it seems like it will never end.

most people who have odd sock syndrome, have another pair exactly like them somewhere.
This guy wears odd socks on purpose. He thinks matching 'em is unlucky.

Sounds like Dragonball Z. That's my first thought. Since it did take the main character thirteen episodes to reach the end of a road that did happen to be in the sky. And then he had to run back, lol. Only took him eight episodes to get back, though.

And it is a really long show at 297 episodes that most younger males like when they first get into anime. So that is my guess.
that's it. oh my lord, I wanted to smack myself unconscious -- just running running running never getting any closer, it was a nightmare I tell ya.

Well, you are pretty awesome for sitting through it. My mom and dad were the same way, but I managed to get them to like it, lol. At least a little. But it is really long and the pacing isn't exactly top-notch.

Cleaning the house, re-cleaning the house, re-re cleaning the house, cleaning out computers browser history, running C cleaners over and over again.....I think I'm a poster idiot for OCD.....gets worse as I get older...lol
I have OCD when I leave the house. I have to check four or five times if the stove, coffee maker, babygate is secure for dog and everything is off the floor in kitchen and check to make sure our dog can't get anything on the counter since he doesnt have the run of the house. I am so afraid he is going to eat something he is not suppose to.

When leaving the house, I just make sure I'm wearing pants, a shirt and shoes. I just cover the basics. :untroubled:

I have to clean the keyboard and mouse at my computer at work with an antibacterial wipe after the girl on afternoon shift has used it. I sit right by the washroom and I have heard people go in there, flush and then immediately leave - yikes! (I'm not saying THIS particular girl does that cuz I go home at 3 p.m. but still - better to be safe than sorry) My shift starts at 7 a.m.

Here's a quote from a study done of shared mice and keyboards (Italics are mine)

Surfaces of keyboard and mice in any environment can be a potential source of transmission of pathogenic organisms leading to diseases. This is more so due to the fact that these are sometimes shared facilities and can lead to community-acquired infections with possible public health implications. Further studies should sample hands of users of these keyboards and mice after to determine the level of contamination picked up from using them. Hand-washing should be encouraged
