I thought the same thing! My mom saw him on his Bad Tour in 1988 (or thereabouts). And both of my parents saw U2 on the freakin' ZooTv Tour in '92.Dying here. You saw Michael Jackson in concert? I am so envious.

Cool! That's just so cool. I got backstage once at a Gary Numan concert, I had a conversation with his Dad before they escorted me out.
I saw Depeche Mode on their first US tour when Vince Clarke was still in the band. Brilliant! Then I saw Vince and Allison Moyet in Yazoo a year or so later. Again, brilliant! A few years later, saw Vince with Andy Bell in Erasure. Need I say it? Brilliant! Finally, saw the Yazoo reunion tour about 5 years ago. Still brilliant!I've been to a few I would consider brilliant, The Pet Shop Boys at Wembley Arena (twice), Depeche Mode also at the Arena, Kraftwerk at the Brixton Academy, but the best has got to be The Stranglers at Hull City Hall in 2011. I was down at the front pogoing up and down with all the other 40 and 50somethings like a load of teenagers. My back and knees were killing me the next day, but it was well worth it.
See my post above.I forgot one
I saw the original Pretenders lineup at the time they released Pretenders II. Awesome show - the early edition of The Pretenders rocked hard.
Dying again. KISS...sigh....overall: Kiss, AC/DC and Aerosmith...but I will always have a special place in my heart for Joan Jett, just wanted to pick her up, put her in my pocket and bring her home...
Yeah - my son and I saw him in Winnipeg - I won tickets from a radio call-in contest - that was great!Alice Cooper
He was amazing. No other concert i've seen comes close. He really owned that stage.Dying here. You saw Michael Jackson in concert? I am so envious.

When I was 5 or 6 my dad took me and my brother to see Michael Jackson in KC, when the turned down the lights someone came out with a giant sword and my brother told me they were gonna chop of Michael's head and I started bawling. I cried the whole concert. My dad was so pissed.Dying here. You saw Michael Jackson in concert? I am so envious.

I've seen vids from that tour. His dancing was perfect in the mid-90s. The opening of Scream/They Don't Care About Us/In the Closet must have been breathtaking to witness in person. He was amazing. No other concert i've seen comes close. He really owned that stage.
Me too!
That's the only way you'd ever have gotten me to go to one of his shows...
