I didn't see Neil Young in the 70s (I saw him a couple of times later) but when the Rust Never Sleeps concert movie was released it was played for two weeks at a theater close by. My friends and I went to see it almost every night. So I kind of feel like I saw Neil and Crazy Hrose on the Rust Never Sleeps tour. I have the blu-ray of that concert film so I've seen it a bunch more times too. :)

So, what's the best concert you've ever been to?

For me, it was Living Colour and Bad Brains at the Orpheum in Boston in 1993. It was the Stain tour.

Bad Brains was the opener. H.R. (their singer) was out of the band at the time but the singer they had sounded just like him. The band was super tight and the energy level was just insane.

Living Colour was the headliner. It was the first time that I had seen them and they did not disappoint. Killer show.

The runner-up for me would have to be Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes. That show was at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA. They did mostly Zepplin tunes and it was pretty kick-a** \w/

How about you?
I have to update my original answer with:

The Foo Fighters. Amazing damn concert.

Who’ve you seen live? Any particular memories?

Out of original Musicians, I’ve seen Weird Al Yancovic and The BoDeans. I’ve seen quite a few cover bands as well, mostly Beatles, but also ones for Led Zepplin and Rush.

I also believe I am going to see ZZ Top and Bad Company with Cheap Trick in May when they come here.
I have a few Bo-deans CD's. They're pretty good.

I've been to a lot of concerts over the years, some big some small. I'd have to say my favourite was 'The Boomtown Rats' in Regina, Saskatchewan back around 1980 sometimes. I don't think they were too popular in the United States because of that song 'I Don't Like Mondays'. It was based on something bad that happened in America (and sadly continued to). Next to that would be 'Trooper' at the 1979 Yorkton, Saskatchewan Fair and Exhibition! I was there for a good time and I rose a little hell!

Was it that girl who shot up that elementary parking lot? I recall hearing that quote being used as her motive.

I'm not sure, it could be, but it would have happened before the song was written. I read the details years ago but the mind ain't what it used to be. I seem to have retained more Bugs Bunny cartoons in memory over the years and dropped other stuff that wouldn't fit anmore.

Well, this happened in the 70’s, the lyrics are too suggestive to be about anything else.
