I love cottage pie - that sounds so cozy and homey right now.I'm having brussel sprouts for dinner later with cottage pie, cabbage, carrots, and roast potatoes.

It's cold, miserable, and raining right now so need something cozy to make everything feel better.Pictures look like what we call shepherd's pie.
Minced beef, carrots, and peas in gravy, topped with creamy mashed potato and cooked in the oven.
Sometimes I like to melt grated cheddar cheese on top...think I'll do that today. Damn, I'm starving now!!
Don't know that that has to do with the price of Brussels Sprouts in China, but... I've been to Hershey plenty of times and they're NEVER out of chocolate. Even took the tour back in the days when chocolate candy was made at the processing plant next to the amusement park. The smell of making chocolate candy was so gawd awful that they had stations along the way for visitors to barf at. And many people went running for the door within seconds of starting the tour. After the tour it took about a month until I could eat chocolate again.

I can eat a lot. My mom used to do this breaded brussel sprout recipe, oh my lord. It was so good.How many do you find yourself eating at a serving? I think I had about a dozen and could have kept right on going.
I had mine with charred chicken..........
