I have a wife and four daughters, which meant the 6 stages of a period was almost always in perpetual motion. Try being the scapegoat of all the mood-swings, anger and pain... nonstop, whydontcha.

Not really complaining, just putting a theory forth as to why women outlive men most of the time.

LOL and thanks. I know the military gives out the Purple Heart. Do I get the Red Va......I think you might qualify as an honorary member.I actually feel kind of bad for what you?lol.I always try and give my family(two guys) a warning/heads up every month.I need a PMS shack filled with books and water that I can retreat to.
My feminist side was angered at first about the old custom (maybe it's still done somewhere?) of having women required to be segregated for the time they're having their menses because to my (white) way of thinking they were being treated like piranhas because the men were afraid of their power as being near a menstruating woman would ruin their hunting "magic". When I read a little more about it, I realized what a great thing it was for the women as they got a mini-vacation every month as they didn't have to do any of their usual chores and someone else did that for them and it was too bad we didn't still do that. What woman wouldn't want a few days off from their duties every month? Wait a minute, it was most likely another woman who did them so actually she had to pick up the slack along with her own chores. Maybe not quite as good a trade-off as I originally thought. My better half was having a particular bad day of it, yesterday. I think that hunting "magic" thing may have evolved into a “survival” thing, so I ran out after voting and picked up a copy of Bazaar of Bad Dreams for her. And it seemed to have temporarily soothed the savage beast. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they had a group meeting and came up with the sequestration idea more for their benefit for those reasons but thought it would come across better and less likely to make the women angry by giving them the hunting magic story. My better half was having a particular bad day of it, yesterday. Makes me think of The Red Tent I quite liked that bookMy feminist side was angered at first about the old custom (maybe it's still done somewhere?) of having women required to be segregated for the time they're having their menses because to my (white) way of thinking they were being treated like piranhas because the men were afraid of their power as being near a menstruating woman would ruin their hunting "magic". I can't wait for those daysGrandma was depressed when menopause started to hit. Now she feels like it's Christmas every month, and thank you, Mother Nature. Of all the detriments that age brings to a body, she actually got one benefit.
