I was right on the edge when I saw he's on the tour , but Dave Matthews won out. That is, if I decide I don't mind going by myself and can get a ticket.

I love

Dave!

Me three! Wouldn't that be awesome - the three of us at a DMB concert. Oh! My! Gosh!

I haven't seen him in concert since 1999. My oldest went the last time he was here in Memphis (2009 maybe). She called me and let me listen to them do Burnin' Down the House. I met Boyd Tinsley once. I am such a Dave fan. I wish they weren't so big now. The concerts used to be so much smaller. They are going to be in Little Rock and I do believe the Ogre and I will go.

Do you have a favorite song? I most enjoy listening to Warehouse and Recently. They just make me feel better.

I love Crash because it is very sensuous. I love his Some Devils solo stuff very much.

That would be so much fun!! I'm sure we'd have those around us giving us the stink eye, though, as I can imagine we'd be really enjoying ourselves and possibly a bad influence on each other.

The Waterfront Pavilion has a 16,000 seating capacity so not sure if that's considered a small concert but compared to some locations, it's small potatoes. I just hope the weather will cooperate because it's an open-air venue and general admission seating.

Have to confess I haven't kept up with their recent releases so there might be a song I haven't heard I'd like better, but Satellite is the one that pops to mind first. Guess I need to start listening to their CDs again to refresh my memory and check out their new stuff.

Hope you get get to go and we can compare notes.

I love open air concerts! We have Mud Island Amphitheater but no one really has concerts there any more - I don't know what happened.

16,000 is big in my opinion. The last time I saw them was at FedEx Forum and it 18,000ish capacity - just huge. I'm spoiled, I remember seeing them at little festivals a few times before Under the Table and Dreaming came out - so intimate and we were all so young(er).

I don't know all the words to all the songs on the new stuff. The last CD that I really got that into was Before These Crowded Streets. That was also the last tour I saw them on - and met Boyd Tinsley in Cafe Expresso in the Peabody. He was buying muffins!

Anyhow, I'm just going to plan on going to Little Rock - we'll have to share stories and pictures!

Eddie Van Halen's birthday was yesterday. Sammy Hagar tweeted him Happy Birthday and wished him well. Eddie actually responded with a Thank You and similar well wishes. That's progress considering they haven't spoken in like 13 years.....

Hearing rumblings that Dave is on the outs and may be replaced by Sammy (again)........

Heard this morning that AC/DC’s U.S. tour was cancelled. Seems Brian Johnson was told by doctors any more loud music and he will become completely deaf. Malcolm Young is gone from the band because of dementia, and now Johnson might need to be replaced. Wonder if the band will finally call it quits?

Glad I actually got to see hear AC/DC live, once, with Bon Scott. I had an evening class at my college and headed right over to the gym to see them play. They were on stage for about 15 minutes before I got there. Got into the gym and their music was so loud I decided I didn’t need to buy a ticket, and just sat on a bench in the hallway outside the gym door, and enjoyed the concert for free. Near the end of the concert people started leaving which allowed me to sneak in. Saw them perform the final two songs of the concert.

I saw this show with Bon Scott. Look at the ticket prices $4.50 and $5.50 ;-D If I remember right, I splurged and got the $5.50 ones. ;-D

This is the concert I went to. $6.00 was a lot of money to me back then with a family, working full time and going to college in the evenings.

AC/DC The Archives

(It was a special photography studio class on body form with a lovely young model. Naked boobies won out over AC/DC that evening... at least temporarily. :))

I'm so sad. I've never seen them live, and I really wanted to. They don't come here anymore (a few years ago a fan got killed in GA crush at a concert, so they've never been asked back), and the concerts closest to us sold out in minutes. I was hoping they'd swing back around at the end of the tour and go to SF or something. I was expecting this to be their last tour, but not for it to end so soon :(
