I curled way back in the last century. It his much harder than it looks and it is definitely a workout, unless you're the skip, then you can have a beer belly.I am just a novice. However, I think curling is one of those events that would be fun to do, but watching it is like watching paint dry. Poor Bob Costas definitely needs a medical professional to look at those eyes.
The women's qualifying was yesterday (repeated last night). Men's qualifying is today (will repeat tonight).Anyone know when and if Ice Shuffleboard (Curling) will be televised?
Absolutely. All it takes is one edge out of place, or one twizzle off by a split second to make the difference. But if both pairs skate without any deductions, I think the Americans have the edge.I don't know enough about the marking to judge exact marks. But in the team skate, I did feel the American team deserved higher marks then the Canadian team.
But, when it comes to the top few skaters, one having a bad day and the other having a good day can make the difference of who stands where when the medals are being given out.
Yup, I was watching!Did you watch men's moguls? When Alex took over 1st place from the Russian skier, the guy congratulated him. It was such a wonderful moment....one great athlete congratulating another.
America, f*** yeah! Here again to save the motherf***ing day, yeah! I'm catching Metallica live at Pinkpop this year, f*** yeah!It woulda been great if the US team entered to the Team America! F#$K Yeah! theme song..oh well can't get everything we wish for..
It should repeat tomorrow night.First game in men's hockey for team Finland tomorrow. But it's at 10 am, and I'm attending a seminar. Quite possibly I'll be kick out of the event, since I'm planning to watch the game on my smartphone.
It should repeat tomorrow night.
I don't know whether to feel bad about that or laugh?Matt Lauer has replaced Bob Costas for tonight's airing.
OK - then, I'll laugh.
Way to go Canada. This is what sportsmanship is all about. You made us all be proud of being Canadian...it was just as lovely as getting a gold medal!!!!I love this.

I think the guy came in last.....but he got to finish.
I'm pretty shocked at Sean White's showing.
