i felt awful for Shawn White last night.... he hit his back HARD. But in the end, even tho' he placed fourth he was gracious and sweet.... and he treated the other competitors with respect. That's a real champion. He'll always be one of my faves....

I was curious if I'm remembering correctly or not. It seems like there used to be more coverage of a variety of different of events in the Olympics. Since NBC is the sole network covering the whole thing, all I get is whatever snippets of prime time coverage plus whatever the alternate NBCSP station covers which seems to just be whatever was covered in prime time the night before. Didn't the Olympics used to be covered by multiple networks or is my memory just out of whack like usual? It seems like I remember being able to view a wide variety of events on several channels a few years back.

Congratulations to Meryl Davis and Charlie White for breaking the all-time highest ide dancing score ever, winning the gold in Sochi. Canadians Virtue and Moir broke the record first. The Davis and White followed and shattered it by more than 2 points.

Virtue and Moir, supported by their fans, are claiming that the outcome was fixed, and blame their coach, who they share with Davis and White, for paying more attention to the latter. Sore losers, much?
