8. Creep (FTV)
A videographer is hired by a terminally ill man to document a day in his life for his unborn son to remember him by. But soon it becomes apparent that the man's illness may not be merely physical, as more of the man's eccentricities come to surface, and the cameraman begins wondering if all is what it seems. Found footage films have taken a beating lately, but this one saves the genre. "Creep" may require a few leaps of faith here and there, but if you're game to go along for the ride, the rewards are great. "Creep" really got under my skin, and it's the kind of movie you'll be thinking about long after you've watched it--I know I still am!

4 out of 5 stars.

9) The Stranger-2013 Could have been an interesting take on the vampire mythos (the filmmakers switch some things up on tradition), but missed the mark by d...r...a...g...g...i...n...g along. It was an hour and a half that felt like 3. Hipster horror again: lots of screaming 'f*ck' at each other place of real tension. Animal killing, so look out morgan --this is not for you. Meh. I think I'm finished with newer movies & am going to seek out old movies that I've missed for a while. (FTV)
Thank you for looking out for me. I appreciate it very much! ;DD Dana Jean will appreciate it too!

#32) Insidious 3 (2015) This is the prequel .. I thought it was pretty awesome, the best of the series. The best lines of the movie is between Elise and the evil woman entity , :
entity: This is how you die.
Elise : (pushes her) Not today! Come on B*tch!

buahahaha you have to see it to. 4.9 out of 5 stars

16.) Night of the Living Dead -- Romero (1968) An old classic. My first rewatch. The rest has been FTV,s . It was a long time since i saw it and it impressed more the first time than now. But its influence is enormous. It is good but does not reach the levels of the truly great classics like Psycho.

4- The Mothman Prophecies (2002) – Richard Gere hears weird voices on his motel phone telling of impending tragedy. The story was weird and not terribly scary, but supposedly based on true events. The best part was the director’s use of mirrors in the filming.

5- A Haunting in Connecticut 2: Georgia Ghosts (2013) – Apparently the original film was set in Connecticut. This one was set in Georgia, so not sure why it was named as it was. A family moves into a house that was used in the Underground Railroad, and has many restless spirits. Meh.

I am going to take Skimom2's advice and look for some oldies on You Tube.

2015 list:

1- Pet Semetary (1989) – First saw this one in the theater and try to catch it every year. Still scares the pants off me, and it’s a nice bonus to see Mr. King in his cameo.

2- Ghost Voyage (2008) – Oh boy! This was just bad. Acting was bad, special effects were corny. It has an interesting premise but just not what I was hoping for. Oh well. I’m at 2 on day 2 so that’s a good start for me!

3- Sinister (2012) – Holy crap! First time seeing this one. I am sufficiently creeped out! P.S. I don’t watch other people’s home movies, so there is that going for me!

9. We Are Still Here (FTV)
Middle-aged couple move into an old New England house to escape the memory of their recently deceased adult son, but soon find there's something else living in the house with them, and they are not welcome. Very good, scary, if tonally shifty, entry to the haunted house genre, "We Are Still Here" starts as a standard "bumps in the basement" haunter, but once things heat up, it really goes for the jugular! These ghosts aren't satisfied just to scare you, they want to hurt you, and badly. This is a directorial debut and sometimes feels like one, but I look forward to seeing what Ted Geoghegan does next.

3.5 out of 5 stars.
