...I just get a guffaw out of things like what Musk posted....how innocent terms have been subverted.....
My eighth-graders are all shook up about the clown sightings in KY. Even some of the macho guys are admitting to being up at 1 AM, looking out into the woods and fields around their homes, rifle at the ready, texting classmates, scared to sleep.
I don't know, I kind of enjoyed the creepy clown in my bedroom last night....

Might have been. Was kind of hard to tell, what with all the grease paint and orange hair.
To Floridians, we call this kind of night "Tuesday" or whatever day it is. Things get weird down here...

I think it really is a lot of something over nothing. As ususal it gets taken too far. But yeah, it's all hilarious till someone gets hurt.
There's been quite a few incidents reported in the UK now. I read in the news this morning that one was seen following children and carrying a real knife. Luckily nobody was injured, but that would be frightening to me as an adult since there's so many mentally unstable people around. It was also on my local news earlier that some children were followed to school this morning and four of them were so distressed they had to be sent home. The people doing this are morons and need to grow up before somebody is seriously hurt.

Seriously! They're going to kill some innocent person or themselves. I was trying to calm them down as they were saying, "Well last time I heard, clowns ain't bullet proof!!!!"
