From what I've heard, several of the latest did very bad things. One stabbed a child, another tried to kidnap a baby. So it was a matter of time.

My dad and I knew this guy, everyone from at least two schools hated. At his college, someone soaked the interior of his sports car in motor oil. He sat up all night with a gun waiting. When his father told us this, Dad said, "Yes, I've heard of someone sitting up all night with a gun waiting. And the next day, the postman or the paper boy gets shot!"

What is WRONG with us?!

This is why I don't pay attention to the news or social media anymore, I just can't handle the stupid. Can all the smart people band together and buy an island? It'll be awesome, being a King fan will be the #1 prerequisite for membership. We seem to have common sense, anyway. :facepalm_smiley:

I dunno what to believe about all this clown hokum. Sounds like typical interWeb bs to me. But who knows? Don't know what to think until I see a couple white-faced, red-lipped, poofy-haired fiends stealing across my lawn in the middle of the night. Should that happen, I have two feet of double edged, razor sharp, personally honed STEEL with which to dispatch said floppy footed vagabonds...toot sweet!

Anyone remember the TV-movie In the Line of Duty: The Price of Vengeance (1994)? Based on the true story of a police detective. A bad guy had a grudge against him, and, knowing that he had a seven-year-old son and where the son attended school, and that on Halloween everyone would be in costume, on Halloween the bad guy dressed as a clown and totally wasted the cop, who barely had time to push his son out of the way before the clown shot him dead, turned around, and shot him a few more times just for the heck of it. Of course the witnesses were mostly children who did not know what they saw. Michael Gross of Family Ties played the cop and it was very distressing to see this happening to him.

The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
This nonsense has made it over here now. It's happened a few times in Liverpool. This is clearly going to end one of 2 ways, not many people carry guns here but we do have a bit of a knife problem. Pick the wrong person and a clown is going to get stabbed or at least a broken jaw, or the victim will have a heart attack and the clowns "prank" will see them on a manslaughter charge.
