My eighth-graders are all shook up about the clown sightings in KY. Even some of the macho guys are admitting to being up at 1 AM, looking out into the woods and fields around their homes, rifle at the ready, texting classmates, scared to sleep.
I don't know, I kind of enjoyed the creepy clown in my bedroom last night....

To Floridians, we call this kind of night "Tuesday" or whatever day it is. Things get weird down here...Might have been. Was kind of hard to tell, what with all the grease paint and orange hair.

Seriously! They're going to kill some innocent person or themselves. I was trying to calm them down as they were saying, "Well last time I heard, clowns ain't bullet proof!!!!"Ok. The 3 phrases I highlighted in red taken all together scare me more than creepy clowns!
