I echo all the sentiment here. My only gripe is the daily torrent of obscene images of attractive men being posted. I feel degraded and as a middle class, middling aged, white male, I just don't have enough my views taken into consideration often enough.

Positives though are, as noted, the super hottie moderators (being moderated those first 100 times was very special for me) and that no one has, of yet, complained about my rubbish posts.

This site is just the best. Even Facebook comes on second place. When I joined 2009 I couldn't believe that I would get so great and
wonderful friends here that I have today. Thanks to Mr King and moderators for keeping up this board. I must apologize that I
don't stop by anymore as often as I used too. But my family life and my critters keep me busy. And since I've been 9 year a King fan
this place is just the right one for me.

Nice thread! I've only been here a short time and get a good feeling thus far. I have been on other boards and with time they seem to sink into the abyss. It's been awhile since I signed up to a MB, but I get the feeling I'll enjoy my time here.

FYI, I turned DiO into a tree hugging daisy lover practically overnight. I can do the same for you and sweet tea.....

I think u will. I haven't been here that long. A lot of knowledge here which is good for me bc I always have questions on books as I finish them and someone here has always had an answer for me.

I say Amen to that. I think it's because Stephen King seems to be such a profoundly nice guy that his readers, the one that truly connect with his work, are like minded and it makes for a wonderful forum.
