I may have to buy myself some thumbtacks! ;-D I hate when you lose half the egg because the shell won't come off cleanly.
I'll try that, too. What has worked for me is to let water come to a rolling boil, then put the eggs in (some of the shells will crack, so it's not the ideal method for boiling eggs for Easter), then let water boil for 15 min., then remove from heat, dump water in sink, then rinse eggs with cold tap water, then dump water, then rinse again. The shells are then very easy to remove. The eggs will still be hot to handle, so I just run cold water over them again.

Pain Free Band-Aid removal

I like to buy the bandages with aggressive adhesive so they don't come off if I'm working outside and sweating. I like the Band-Aid brand flexible fabric bandages. The good thing is that they really stick and the bad thing is that they really stick. ;-D If you have a bandage with very aggressive adhesive you want to remove, pour alcohol (91% alcohol is superior when it comes to adhesive removal of any kind) on the bandage and that will loosen the grip and allow you to pull it off easily.

Or you could pour the alcohol into yerself first.

Both ways, that's gonna sting!

I have had REALLY good luck with Dirty Jobs laundry additive. I can only find it at Walmart, but it might be other places. Dirty Jobs™ - Get Tough on Your Dirtiest Jobs

It's the only thing that gets out oily stains, like when you blop ranch dressing on your shirt, or when a baby throws up formula on you. It's also really good on spaghetti and poop and blood, but most serious stain removers are. I'd just never found anything that worked on oil before. I swear, I could hear the angelic choir in the background when we first tried it! I wish I hadn't had 4 of my 5 kids BEFORE this product came out, I walked around for years with some pretty gothic barf stains...

I realize I'm quoting myself. I haven't been able to find this product for about six months. Has anyone else seen it, or is it just gone?

Woe is me...
