From the good ol Midwest
Made the mistake of checking the weather this morning and saw we're under another winter storm watch for Thursday night going into Saturday morning and another 7" of snow possible. :facepalm_smiley:

How much snow did you get, Out of Order?
Ha ha I did the same thing. Saturday eve through Sunday 8-12" of snow! It wouldn't bother me except having to shovel it! Stay safe and warm everyone!!

We have had incredible temps this week, Mon and Tues hit 60! Yesterday was about 20 degrees cooler, and cloudy. Today's high will be 46. It is lovely out. (Say sorry to everyone buried in white stuff!)

We will be getting a tiny bit of snow Saturday. But nothing like you all in the NE!

I'll try to focus on how pretty it looks out there--at least today. :smile2:

Beautiful!

Marsha, I love you and all that, but ten (10!) years... and not one freaking snowman?!

Just one.
With a hat.
And a carrot nose.
A scarf... I don't mind which kind, but hey--this thing could be stylin'!
Buttons.
And holding (or implanted, I don't care) a frozen chocolate bar. Any kind, I'm not fussy. :snicker:
And a sign: "For Flakes, with love."

Is this really too much to ask? Hmm? ;;D

We have an 'Alberta Clipper' coming through today with anywhere from 5 to 15 cm of snow. I'm holding Staro personally responsible. ;)
That is where all our snow is going, I guess. We have had one bloody long chinook. All is not lost though because we are promised some flakes tomorrow. They had better not be wrong about this! I need to see some snow.

Wrong kind of snow--it was powder which doesn't make for good snowman-making. You know I love you, too, but after 10 years you still don't know how much I hate snow and being cold?!!!! For you, though, I'll keep it in mind if we have the right conditions which would mean wetter snow and a sunny day after the storm so I'm not out there in crappy weather. I'm not sure I even liked that when I was a kid.

This is the weirdest winter I can remember. We had a hard freeze early on, a little snow at Christmas, and that's it. It's been in the 50s here for weeks--that's March/April weather, usually! My lilac bush is beginning to bud, and even the irises are poking little green tops above the ground. I love it now (not going to lie-January/Feb are usually very, very hard for me), but I'm starting to worry that either 1) we're going to get pounded with heavy, wet snow in Feb/Mar, or we won't and we'll be in drought conditions all summer.
