Not sure if I'm more tired of the snow/cold or complaining about the snow/cold....
There are times when it is doubly frustrating because I work in the construction industry and outdoor work is so dependant on the weather so it gets to seem like it's piling on.
I didn't even want to look at the "predictions". Soon we'll need thread called WWTFW!!Now I'm as frustrated as EMARX...............

Walter's Waiting Today For Windows...three window jobs...five for one, two for another, a single for the final...and it was 20 below this morning...sun up, warming up. just heard John D on the radio...local weatherman...talking to Mitch. Said we have had 200" of snow...Keweenaw County 220 so maybe we're near the end...of our rope. Heh! The paper only has a tad over...155 I think. Who measures these things?
Another day off school here. About a half inch to an inch of snow. WOW seems like hardly enough to call off school. Will get more snow tonight.
Yesterday, I was working on a job that was about 100 miles from home. When I left the house, it was overcast and it was overcast where I was working but I didn't run into any rain. When I was driving back and I got to within a few miles of home, I started noticing all the ditches were full and there was street flooding. When I got to the house, my ditches were full and my backyard was a small lake 
. I looked at my rain gauge and it had overflowed (It goes up to 5 1/2"). I have no idea how much rain we had but it was significant and my area seems to be the only place that got rain like that.

We got hit with 8" of snow yesterday and we still have school! ( state testing going on. darned if they will close) My girls were downright disgusted with having to go! I am downright disgusted with it still being winter! When is March supposed to get here? Hugs to you all enduring all of this snow/cold!
Winter left, Spring sprung, and we went straight to Summer. Nights have been 60's and days 80's. Continuing for this week. Wonder what next week will bring?

It's going to be -6c and sorta sunny today. Tomorrow a crapload of guck.
"Dusting" of snow this morning which this winter has now become anything under 2-3". They're saying it will be up to 40F on Wednesday and possibility of rain so people need to make sure their roofs are cleared of snow so they don't risk collapsing. Fun times.
UGH! More snow last night. Please God, make it stop!!
On the plus side, I'm getting my money's worth out of the set of snow tires I put on my car! Who says you can't drive a 400+ HP rear wheel drive car in the winter?!

Nice and mild here for a change - it went up to minus 4 Celsius and with the wind chill it felt like minus 14 - still - nice to see the sun come back out again 
Snow and Ice on they way today. Then more snow on Wednesday. They are calling for between 1.4" to 11.6". They are giving themselves quite a large prediction window again. 
The problem is, people change plans, schools close, airports delay..... I understand that they have to tell you a "might", but it would be nice if they got it right more than once this year.
I am hoping to drive a distance today for an interview, they are saying the ice is coming at 3pm. just in time for rush hour.
