Rain,will turn to sleet,snow again. By Thursday. Thursday and friday shall be nasty. But today around 60. Crazy for sure
Big big snow on top of ice. Say sayonara to plums, grapes, & lilacs this year. *sigh* Early spring flowers will be okay--they don't mind cold feet--but I'm worried about my irises & roses, too, as they'd started to bud.
81F/ heat index 83F at 1PM EST- over the predicted high. 60 tonight, rain for Friday. Did I miss Spring???
Ok, so I drive in snow this morning, then on my way back, sleet, now it's raining and the icicles are melting. No worries, arctic air comes back tomorrow, just in time to make icy roads!
We got 4 inches of snow last night... y'know, I feel real bad all y'all up North have run out of places to put your snow but... Don't send it here!
I'd blame the Snow Goose....

We're going backwards. Yesterday's low was 27 and the high was 43, today was minus 3 and currently 21 with high of 25 in the forecast. <sigh>

I keep getting gardening/seed catalogs in the mail and just toss them aside thinking by the time the snow melts and the ground thaws to the point where we could have a garden there probably won't be enough time left in the season for much of anything to grow.

Seriously, though, your lungs can get damaged at that temperature so it's a good idea to wear a scarf up around your nose and mouth so that the air gets warmed a bit before you breathe it in.
