Wowzer! I agree, you should go home before you get heat exhaustion.

Only 78 here according to the weather underground site. This is going to be another playing hooky day for yoga--I can commune with nature on my patio and do a few sun salutations there instead. ;-D
Communing with nature has more healing and spirit vibes than yoga. Alway go for nature. Enjoy.

In your mirror.
The high winds rattling the windows woke me up early early this morning. The dark sky was lit up like a pinball machine with the lightening. A few minutes later, the house started to shake (like I would imagine an earthquake would) by claps of thunder. Lost power. Have mercy. Grabbed my cell and took my scardey cat butt to the bathroom and made my self comfortable in the bathtub. :O_O:

As I was telling my kid brother, laying in the bathtub contemplating my demise (who would think I would bite the big one in a hurricane/ tornado) I thought: I need to eat more bacon. And I really need to shave my legs.

Kid brother told me we might get hit with more bad weather later tonight. Seeing as I might die tonight I decided not to waste my valuable time shaving my legs. ;;D

Y'all take care.

Peace.

(Why, yes. Yes, I am chatting in the weather thread. :lemo:)

Being from the Philippines I imagine you cope quite well with hot and sticky weather. Today where I am it was 26C and extremely still. I don't like it this hot, I walked to the shops and when I stopped at the traffic lights for less than a minute I could feel my shins burning up. It was still 20C at 10pm. I am so not built for the heat.

They keep promising thunder storms but all we get is 2 distant rumbles and no lightning.

I like fair weather maybe between 26C to 32C is enough, too much rain cause me runny nose and endless coughs (which is worse this year because the summer was too hot and i know what it means, rainy days were too cold and expect a heavy rainfall that was near as how typhoon Yolanda strikes many years ago)
Too much sun will dehydrate me a lot and i am a type of person who sweat so easily.
