I just right clicked in the search panel on Google Chrome and an option came up for "Add as search engine". Maybe this will help? (If you follow through (I didn't) it may give you the option of setting as default?)

I guess it will take time for you to heal so take it slow. If you cannot work around other dogs just yet then explain this to her and that you need a bit of time before you will be ready again.

Well, I went to work this evening to find, at a desk I share with a couple of other people, that the folder with my name on it, filled with contact and other information, was missing. Either it was thrown away, or it's been put somewhere else. Why anyone felt possessed to do this, when it was plain that my name was on it, is beyond me. I had written a few numbers on some sheets of paper before and stuck it in a drawer there, probably should have put it in the folder, those disappeared some weeks before... if I had put them in the folder, then they'd just be vanishing today....

Sorry to hear this- Can you report it to your boss? Not right that someone else should take your private file. Hope they are not using it to advance their position.

I know puppy is well, though. She is being cared for. They were screened and had home visits before she was adopted. And they paid a lot of money for my Maggie. Not to me....But to DVGRR. Who took care of her for a week.

She turned one year old in October.

I swear, walking her... Cars would slow down to look. and smile at her.

She would be carrying a stick bigger than herself. And tugging me along.

Spideyman There was nothing sensitive in it, just things that I in particular needed to do my job... if anyone needed any of the phone numbers in there all they had to do was ask... I'll have to call my boss in the morning and see if there was any reason someone would move the folder somewhere else...

Could get in there maybe once every two days. There are plenty of complaints about it.

Did it still have the address of yahoo.com? If not, you may have loaded spyware by clicking on some annoying pop-up. Don't click the "X" to close those things; that can load the spyware. Right-Click on the little window on the taskbar and close it, or CTRL-ALT-DEL (on a Windoze PC) and close it in the task list.

Same homepage, just really hard to see mail, or any news. I have to restart, CTL ALT Delete all the time now. I now have gone to control panel and set my time date back to sometime in Nov.

I don't click on pop ups. They are clever virus. I must change settings the arrow goes there, maybe I hit it without meaning to.
