We're heading out tomorrow to pick up a crib mattress. It's a shower gift. We picked out what we want but decided to wait so we don't have to store it to long. Today's flyer has a crib mattress on sale. Not the one we want, but I'm hoping they are all marked down.

If not, we'll pay full price for the quality we want.

:D

Where do we stand on the automatic ice maker? :applause:
Got one free with the fridge. Made sure they installed it before they left and switched the handle over to the other side where it's more convenient for our kitchen layout. It doesn't have as much storage space on the door for jars (like jelly, condiments, salad dressings, etc.) as the old one but maybe this way I won't collect as many and toss out the expired ones sooner. Found a few of those when transferring things over.

No problem there but the salad dressings were another story.

I know that story! My wife will put back a jar that has maybe a teaspoon left in it then instead of using that up first she'll open a new one up next time. Do I bring this to her attention......oh no........I'm finding enough glass in my beer and frozen pizza I don't need her mad at me and putting more shards in my salad!!

Did they provide you with the filter model that you need to change out every year for that automatic ice maker?

Not specifically but that may be what they were alluding to when they said "here's your manual and paperwork" when they laid it on top of the fridge just before leaving. :smile2:
LOL. Probably. Just make sure to turn the water off before changing out the filter, and hope they don't discontinue them or change the model numbers on the filters too soon. :)

Just saw the epic second trailer for Captain America: Civil War. Oh my god, massive geek-gasm. Too many Marvel legends to count. And frickin Spidey! Oh my stars and garters!

Now if they could just work out the rights to have the X-Men flicks join the Marvel Cinematic Universe--imagine the banter between Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Downey's Tony Stark.

Excelsior!

Spidey is my first hero love! I hate his costume in the trailer (My daughter's comment: "Black Panther costume budget: $3 mil. Spiderman costume budget: a couple crumpled ones and a half eaten PB&J." :D), but they'll likely clean it up in post production (like they did with Apocalypse. He looked awful in the first trailers for the upcoming X-Men movie, but now he's pretty badazz) I'm beyond excited for this movie--Winter Soldier was the best of any in this franchise, and Civil War is written/directed by the same people.

Yeah, costume looked...slightly tweaked. Kinda more Romita than Ditko. But I'm excited. Heh heh..."underoos".

Now if they could just buy out whoever owns the Fantastic Four franchise, and absorb it into the MCU.

There is an awful cold going around here. The cough goes on for ages. FINALLY seeming to ease.
I had flu, then two rounds of antibiotics for sinus infection, but the cough held on for over a month. No fun at all. I still have the occasional, but nowhere near as often or as painful. At one point, Captain Trips was the watchword in my house :p
