Hi Ash - I would LOVE a pig in a blanket!

As far as surgery, my understanding is that before you sign consent they have to let you know about all the risks, benefits and potential complications.

You are young and healthy so don't worry - I have typed reports where 85 year olds have come out of surgery fine! I know it is hard NOT to worry but they should give you some sort of sedative type drug (like lorazepam) to calm you down and soothe your jittery nerves preop.

Best of luck with everything and I am sure you'll be happy once it is all over.

So they didn't do any lab work but they did bombard me with tons of information they took me to o be room where a nurse explained how to put on the immobalizer which was complicated cuz there are all these straps and u got to do it just right then they explained how not to do this or that and then they said they would 're explain it all the day of surgery if I needed and I was like oh I'll need it
