...I am going to broach the subject of our next venue for 2018, when we gather to break bread at this years event....destinations are going to be to return to Maine, or head to Florida......vote of the members in attendance will determine the locale.....it's the way it has to be, because to much planning is involved to throw it out on the Board for suggestions and votes....bogs down and becomes a headache...this is NO insult to any of the family here, just acknowledgement that time is of the essence even when the event is two years away...

just a tad input as you discuss the locations- summer months in FL are hot and humid, June thru end of Nov is Hurricane season and they are totally unpredictable as to when and where they will develop. I've seen many a vacation plan be uprooted. It is a beautiful state and many attractions are available. Guess you could say it's just an input of something to consider.

...good point, and one I had thought about.....will leave it to the crowd....but that is very valid....and we had some humongous storms in Maine, but no hurricane level blows....

If you come back to Maine, we could make it a retirement celebration, too.

There is an ever expanding group of us heading to Bangor for Bangorefest in October.( who could skip seeing CHRISTINE getting married:rofl:) If you feeling daring enough to meet up with us we will buy you a Hurricane AND a piece of pie!

Yeah, if we do it down here, summer would probably be off the table. It's just too hot. A winter Kon instead? I know all your Northerners would think of that as a huge benefit in and of itself. The weather here can be quite amazing in those months. I try not to tell too many people about it. :)

....the reason being is, that many were unable to make our initial event and I thought it would be nifty-keeno to take another trip, with a lot of advance notice, so that more could enjoy the loveliness that is Ms. Mod....well, and Maine o'coss....ayuh......
