It's excellent but don't expect a conventional movie. I plan on seeing it again one of these days.
The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston, The Boondock Saints, Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood, and Ultra Violet with Theron.
Watched Ferris Buller's Day Off again for the hundredth time or so. Movie cracks me up. And makes me sad when the poor Ferrari gets totaled
Nope. Haven't branched out that far in my movie viewing.....We have on DVR "Tree of Life" with Brad Pitt. Has anyone seen it?
I didn't know this was part of the DVD - thanks for the info!It was cool to see Joe Hill interviewed in the 'Making Of Horns' extra.
The Boy Next Door - ridiculous lurid melodrama posing unsuccessfully as erotic thriller
Chappie - Pinocchio meets Robocop
Unfinished Business - coarse Vince Vaughn comedy (but then, aren't they all?)
Death Proof - F*ckin awesome. Loved the exploitation film vibe. Loved the dialogue (unlike some people). Loved the end chase (better than any CGI action scene I've ever seen). If you have an attention span, it's well worth it.
And, it has a lap dance. That is ALWAYS a bonus.
Did you see Planet Terror too (part of the double feature)? I thought both were great. If you haven't seen Planet Terror, see it immediately.
No, I haven't. Despite having a similar drive-in movie culture (we had movies like Stone, The Cars that Ate Paris, etc) we didn't get the Grindhouse double feature.
