Part of The Descendants - I feel asleep (too much Pinot G.) - husband watched it and really liked it... (which he told me when I woke up briefly at 3am feeling like crap)

Notes on a Scandal - it was intriguing. I don't know if I'd say it was "good" - it was pretty terrible subject matter but I like Cate, and Judi and they did a good job.
Also, shamefully, The DUFF. My preteen and her friend begged me to. It wasn't that bad. It's this generation's Breakfast Club/Sixteen Candles, sort of.

The Interview with James Franco and Seth Rogen. My teenage son's pick for family movie night. Have to admit it was a lot funnier and more enjoyable than I thought it would be.
Watched Donnie Brasco again on Netflix.

Express - the Ernie Davis story (with Dennis Quaid) - not bad, we love "based on a true story" movies, so, it's always educational if nothing else. Sad story.
Stir of Echoes--I bought the book the other day and realized that though I have the DVD, I'd never watched it. Really enjoyed the movie!
"Clown". Eli Roth movie...lol, I have to admit, as far as homicidal clowns go, the clown in this movie is right on par with Pennywise as far as his "tastes" go. It's worth watching, but if you can't handle movie violence against kids, I'd pass.
Technically not a movie but an episode of Masters Of Horror, The episode is an hour long so it's almost a movie.

The movie is pretty good. For a Kevin Bacon film.....
Seriously though, it's pretty good. The book is very different though. I liked them both.
Heh, I know whatcha mean. Somethin about that ski-jump nosed derfnerder rubs me the wrong way. HOWEVER, much like that milktoast Kevin Costner, he's in a lot of great flicks. Gotta love Tremors. Oh, and can't forget the original Friday the 13th.
I do like some of Bacon's films. He played a great scumbag in Sleepers.
