Randomly found this movie on Netflix last year. Thought it was pretty decent. I've only read the first four books in the series.

I watched Odd Thomas on Netflix. It was pretty good. (I have not read any Koontz any ages.)

Looking for a decent horror for tonight , saturday night viewing . I have SENNA on standby , which i am told is a great doco.

Dont want another possession movie - although i loved the movie 'the Rite' with anthony hopkins - that was the exception . A movie of doubting beliefs and religion fears , that put the viewer in the believer or non believer seat right until the end of the movie.

Picked up hellboy1&2 from my local charity shop - need a laugh these days.

It was even better on the big screen when it was released. That movie broke so many barriers in its time.

Watched a movie last night as a throw away "stick something on in the background" but after only 5 minutes i was absolutely glued to the set. Its called '71 and tells the story of a young soldiers first day in Northern Ireland during the horrors of 1971 IRA/ dodgy undercover military/UDA all with great hair and thick moustaches .

Kingsman The Secret Service.

Goofy fun. Ultraviolent, but almost bloodlessly so. You have to leave the disbelief behind, although there was one sequence close to the end where we were laughing, going, "Oh, come on." But we were happy with the viewing choice last night.

The 1945 David Lean version of Great Expectations was on the other afternoon. With a huge pile of ironing, it made the chore nearly enjoyable. Such a gothic atmosphere. It had been so long since I'd seen it there were bits I forgot about. Brilliant.

As far as I can tell from IMDB, he just did the one episode for Suspense Theater, and the whole show is on You Tube (as posted above).
