I watched Return To Me again last night. It was nice to see David Duchovny in this role after watching Californication. LOVE him though! :)
LOVE this movie, and I'm not normally into such romantic fare. Duchovny makes it very watchable, and I love Minnie Driver, Jim Belushi, Carroll O'Connor and Bonnie Hunt--all their roles are well-acted.

The Guest (2014)-I saw this a while ago on Netflix, but don't think I posted it on here yet. Absolutely loved this one. Dan Stevens (most known as Matthew Crawley on Downton Abbey) is fantastic as a soldier who visits a family, who he claims is a friend of their son who died on duty. But once he arrives, strange "accidents" start happening in town. I thought it was a really well-made thriller that kind of has an 80s retro vibe to it. The soundtrack is great, too :)

Is it on Netflix?

That is one of my all time favorite movies! We quote it all the time, particularly, "For the love of God and all that is holy...SHUT THE HELL UP!" :D There is nothing or no one that I didn't like about this movie :)

I started that the other night, but didn't get far before I was nodding off--not from the movie, but because it had been a long day (lol). I'll have to pick it back up--I wasn't far in, just to where the daughter wakes up and comes downstairs and he's there with the mom.

Just re-watched Firestarter. It's been ages since I first watched it! Completely forgot Heather Locklear is in it - great feathered hair! :)
It was a bit slow, but the one awesome thing about some of the older SK movies is they follow the books a lot closer than they do these days!
I liked that one aside from George C. Scott as Rainbird. Martin Sheen was a different take on Cap than I'd imagined; I thought he'd look more like Harry Morgan (from MASH). He did a good job, though :)

The Cheap Detective. Uhh...1978? Forget. Anyhoo, Peter Falk doin his best Bogie, lotsa of great cameos, lots of riffs on Bogart's biggest flicks. A lot like Carl Reiner's Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, except for the whole film clip angle. They even use the same joke, taking off on Bacall's 'whistle' line from To Have and Have Not:

"You know how to DIAL, don't you? Just stick your finger in the little hole..."

Swear to God, both flicks make the same joke.

1978 is correct. Directed by Robert Moore. Anyways, my last movie watched is 61*. With football season coming up soon, I figured I would get one more baseball movie in.
