Flash Gordon (1980). Doesn't look a whole lot different than a 1930 Flash Gordon (effects wise). How much coke were these cats on? Great flick to watch at 4:20 am. Saw this as a young boy and thought it looked lame even back then. But, just as I had back then, I found Ornella Muti (Ming's daughter) just about too hot for words.

After seeing King Kong and then Flash Gordon, i resolved to never trust Dino di Laurentis again. And yes, he's made money for our Gracious Host. I give him credit for that. Didn't much care for those movies, either, though.

You say true, I say thankee. Except for the original Conan the Barbarian. I still love that flick.

I'll probably be banned forever but -we just watched the Harold and Kumar Christmas movie. And once I discovered it was originally in 3-D I made David wait while I dug out the 3d glasses and then asked him to start the movie over;;D ( if you are going to throw anything at me please make it Christmas cookies).

Have you not read the book Blunthead? There really isn't an original story that I can recall. It's just a dope fiend's insane stream of consciousness. There's a lot of talk about effluvium and having to stick an apple corer up your...up your...ahh, well, just due to constipation from opiates.

I haven't seen the movie, but if it was unnecessarily bizarre it sounds like an accurate adaptation.

That being said, I kind of liked the book. Sort of. Not going to give it a glowing recommendation, but I liked it better than On the Road.

Last movie I watched was the first Toy Story. Haven't seen it in a few years. Man, it held up way better than I expected. Funny, dark, and the animation still looks great for the first computer-animated movie, and one that's twenty years old.

I also picked up the Hobbit, the original cartoon, from Target and the damn thing skips. I just removed it from the package! How does that happen? It's unwatchable.

Hmmmm?
Not a big boob-tube watcher,
Usually read while my wife watches ( TV that is)
Indiana jones first movie was recently on so I guess that'd be the one,
Although, just parts here and there as I peek up from my kindle,
