Fur trader?
I want to see this movie. But are there animal killings in it? That would be a deal breaker. I saw pictures of a bear fight, that is just about all I know about this movie
It ain't a bear fight, darlin', that's a bear and Leo. There is a rather gruesome scene involving (and already dead) horse.

Violet and Daisy (2011)

Teenage assassins. Movie started out with promise (Tarantino type feel), but fizzled out soon afterward. Wanted to see it because of how good Saoirse Ronan was in Hanna (she must like playing young assassins). Wouldn’t watch it again.

I saw this. It was an interesting one.

Watched a lot of old movies lately, as usual. Did Captain Blood and The Sea Hawk back to back, double dose of Errol Flynn in his prime, directed by a double dose of Michael Curtiz. Now THESE are freakin MOVIES. Big, awesome sets; great production design; solid acting all around. Curtiz is a freakin God.

If they did these flicks nowadays, it'd just be a buncha jump-cuts, shaky camera effects, CGI overload, and no story. And cats wonder why I dig classic cinema.

Watched the first two episodes of the new X-Files revamp. I think they knocked it out of the park so far. It's supposed to be a six episode run to see how it does. So far, I'm very much hoping they start the series back up again. Very well done. It's still a good story line and the characters are as weird as ever. Way to go Chris Carter and Glen Morgan.

The Last Survivors (2014) Netflix streaming

Not bad. This is a post apocalyptic story of a young couple trying to survive and protect their property in a world without much water. This is similar to The Young Ones that was released the same year. The Young Ones is a superior movie but The Last Survivors is decent. If you are only going to watch one movie like this, pick The Young Ones.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) Tye Sheridan, Logan Miller

Horror/comedy flick with a lot of laughs. It worth watching just to see Cloris Leachman as a zombie.
I love Cloris Leachman - she is hysterical! ;-D
I would love to see a 'buddy' movie with Cloris and Betty White!! Just ponder the possibilities......Think Thelma And Louise but with dirty one-liners!!!
