I liked it very much. The circle of pathology. One minute you feel for a person for what's happened the next you despise the person for what they've done.

(I have 10 days before I'm back at the salt mines. How about you?)
School starts the 21st, though we go back earlier to get our ducks in a row for our placement tests. My boss hasn't given us a set day but I suspect it will be the 14th. I've been summer schooling 3 days a week for most of the summer--we end that on the 10th.

I have to be re-certified every year for take down. It can get pretty physical, pretty fast so it's a good thing we get refresher courses and keep up to date. I must say, when the students see we have blue cards they tend to not act out.
(Get some rest, kick back and enjoy your time off and hugs to you and your Lil man. )

Watched Passengers (2016) last week. I don't usually watch or enjoy "space" movies, but this one had a unique storyline. Thought it was good - decent acting. Chris Pratt is really elevating his game. (I've heard he's a really good guy in real life and that makes me happy. :) )

Master's of Horror: An Incident on and off a Mountain Road (seen it before and read the short story, I like the main actress in it, it is well done except I think the psycho guy is overdone)
Chocolate: Watched about 25 minutes. The main guy has a Stephen King book on his nightstand, which one?

We watched that not too long ago,and I liked it more than I expected to :)

This is older movie week, apparently. Last night we watched Watchmen; tonight's feature was The Conjuring. Not a first viewing of either, and I still thought both were pretty good (except Doctor Manhattan. He's a stupid character played by a bland actor).

It's been a while since I saw Chocolate but it might be Desperation because Henry Thomas was in that movie (and I think Mick Garris directed Chocolate and Desperation). Chocolate was really weird but I liked it. Most people don't share that view. ;-D

Incident is based on a short story from Joe Lansdale.

Watched The Other Side of the Door.

After her young son is killed in a tragic accident, a woman learns of a ritual which will bring him back to say goodbye, but when she disobeys a sacred warning, she upsets the balance between life and death.

Sarah Wayne Callies who played Loru Grimes in TWD stars. If you liked her in TWD you'll hate her in this. If you hated her in TWD you'll hate her in this, too. =D

The movie wasn't great but it wasn't bad, either. Grab some popcorn and a Coke, kick back and watch it. Not a bad way to kill some time.

Yep, Desperation. Both shows are good. I like Matt Frewer since Max Headroom. I used to wear a Max Headroom t-shirt when that show came out. I like pretty much like all the episodes in that collection.

An unisnpired Titanic copy in space.

This Movie could be much more Interesting if the Question of Guilt would be the Focus
(he wakes up a person, because he is bored and sentence her to Death)

Chris Pratt looked Pale against Jennifer Lawrence, this was out of his League

Watched Cocoon

When a group of trespassing seniors swim in a pool containing alien cocoons, they find themselves energized with youthful vigor.

It was so cool seeing this movie again.
Was it on Netflix? I'd love to see it again. I get nostalgic for those '80s films like this and others: Footloose, Top Gun, Short Circuit, Back To The Future, The Goonies, etc.
One of my personal favorite movies from the eighties is Children of a Lesser God. Have you seen it?

Split - McAvoy's performance was amazing. Loved Betty Buckley too. Can't say much more without spoilers, but I think most SK fans would love this movie.
Loved it until the end. Shamalamadingdong shot himself in the foot again, but up until the very end it was great. McAvoy is one of my absolute favorite actors (And Betty Buckley was pretty damn good, too, kingricefan )

No, sir. HBO Now. I got the 30 day free trial and it's pretty good. I don't think I'll keep it, but we'll see.

I have seen Children of a Lesser God and I liked it. Have you seen Agnes of God? Jane Fonda, Anne Bancroft and Meg Tilly were stupendous. Truly marvelous performances.
