Awesome article! He mentions three of my favorite authors- John Ajvide Lindqvist, Stieg Larsson and, one in my top five list, Don Robertson!!! I'm hoping that this nod will drive up Don's book sales (his three books in the 'Greatest Thing' trilogy have all been re-issued in trade paperbacks). If you haven't ever read any of Don Robertson's books then you have neglected treating yourself to one of America's best novelists!!! SEARCH HIM OUT!!!
I had never heard of Don Robertson before this. I might look him up. But i was strangely pleased that he felt the same about Lindqvist and Larsson as i. He likes Larsson, wooden prose and all. Exactly how i feel. And Lindqvist is great. And now i know i have read a book that King hasn't!! I actually have read two Jane Austen.

In your mirror.
People actually read what she writes? Who'da thunk?! But then, it would be extremely difficult for her to write his autobiography no matter what her talent (or more accurately, lack thereof) is. ;)

Under your bed
I like the bit where he sez translations are like books filtered through another mind--that's how I've always felt, but didn't know how to say it.

He doesn't read in bed, though. Dunno if I can trust em anymore. I not only have books on the nightstand, but in its drawers, on the floor, and several on the bed next to me. (No, I'm not married. Why do you ask?)
