Don't knock it if you haven't tried it - it was the 60s and it seemed like anything went back thenLOL-Sorry, you lost me at "chew the wax!!"
I loved those! There is a little store neR here where you could still get them
I don't suppose anyone here has ever seen these things in real life?
(I remember eating them as a kid but I don't remember the little carton). They had coloured sweet liquid inside and you could chew the wax part afterwards.
Yep. the liquid was disappointing . But you could chew for a loooong time.

How can lights that were working fine last January not work now? They were carefully put away in their original box (new last year), that box put into ANOTHER box (a tote), and that box stored in the crawl space & left untouched until today. What the heck happened?!
Decorating is almost done, thank the good lord (lol)

Yes, I got these. But I don't remember them being called this.

Christmas tip.Sorted my rats nest of Christmas lights out at the weekend. Every year I wish I'd just gone out and bought some new ones.
Great idea but how do you get it in/out of the house without the decorations falling off and breaking in the process?Christmas tipBuy a tree sized shed and put tree in fully trimmed, with lights on.that's what my living room looked like yesterday when I let the kids put the tree up
Collapsible trees.Great idea but how do you get it in/out of the house without the decorations falling off and breaking in the process?

You can do that with the decorations on them? That's the part I hate about Christmas trees--the decorating (and putting everything away when it's over) is boring and tedious for me but if I didn't have to do that I might consider having a tree.Collapsible trees.
