After the floorball i feelö like a newly dug up corpse. Stiff and aching all over. Right now i would be ideal as an extra in a zombiemovie. I CANT WALK IN ANY OTHER WAY!!! This slowly stuttering limping awkward walk is all i manage now.
This is exactly how I felt on Monday after hiking two miles straight up the side of a mountain the day before.....
Don't tell anyone, but after I took my daughter to school, I stretched out on the couch and went back to sleep. I slept off and on for most of the day.

How will we ever survive the terrain in Mexico?

Your secret is safe with me. Hopefully not so much hiking in Mexico. And there we will have an extra motivation..... The knowledge that if we dont we will be captured and our hearts scooped up from our bodies.... These Aztecs doesnt play nice.....

You slept on and off the couch most of the day? Did you keep falling off?

Neesy - good luck with the healthy eating. I've been trying to be better. I was so good for so long. Then I totally quit eating and lost a ton. But when my appetite came back - watch out! So now, I've got a good appetite and I need to get back the Y on a regular basis. I'm going today, no matter what.

Thanks HollyGolightly - so far, so good. I just write down my choices and figure out the points. I need to go buy more veggies and fruits today as most of those have no points.

I have a gym membership to work on the weights but I also got a good pamphlet on walking recently that inspired me to keep track of that. Our harsh winter will be here soon, so may have to do it indoors for part of the time - there is a walking track at work one floor about our office! :m_walk: (I used to run but I find it better to walk now :run_pig:- not as much stress on my joints).

p.s. you totally quit eating? I have heard of fasting but that doesn't sound like what you did :dunno: - I am glad you are feeling so much better now

In Canada floorball is called "floor hockey" - now I know what you are talking about! - that is a good workout - you must feel exhausted but good afterwards.

Exactly!! But we dont have a goalie or that big a goal. When you do it for fun you most often dont, that is more for proplay, like championships and leagues. You have to play both defense and attacking so it means alot of running. But it is fun. I made a really nice goal from behind the goal yesterday.

We also have something here called Broomball that is played on ice (well, it sure looks like ice anyway!)

I was never on the Women's Broomball team in the military but I used to listen to the girls' stories.

We had a floor hockey league in High School that included students, teachers and the vice principal. I played goalie. During one game the vice principal was on the opposing team and he slashed me while he was in the crease trying to deflect the puck in. I got up from my stance (I played like Tony Esposito used to) and cross-checked the VP and put him right on his butt. Needless to say I inherited hero status for the remainder of the season....

Did the Playboy bunnies reward you later? (What's up with the new avatar?)

Hi everyone! Just popping in. I was selected for a jury yesterday, so I will be at the courthouse all the rest of the week.

Hope you all have a great week! I will try to stop by in the mornings, depending how efficiently I get everyone plus myself ready to go for the day.

Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

So you're not sequestered and posting from some expensive hotel? No room service? :(
