His lack of professionalism was what I found so off putting.....by the time he asked me that, I was as stiff as a board again.
My main problem is that the vertebrae in my lower back lack the motion that they should have normally....and I get knots in my shoulders due to the way I work.
I know it would probably be difficult to do this, but giving him that kind of feedback might be helpful. As someone new to the field, he's going to be making mistakes (although I don't see how anyone who'd been properly trained would not have not known not to do that) and maybe if he realized his bedside manner needed changes he'd do better in the future.

I'm great at getting knots out. There is not a shoelace in town that can stand in my way!!!!!

I really am learning a lot today..........
I figured that one wouldn't get by you. :D Not done with every client and not on a first massage. Very similar to what a woman does with self-exams and intended to be instructional as well as therapeutic and only with permission after explaining to the client the purpose. If the pecs were tight, the therapist can properly drape and work into the breast tissue in that area that would be farther down than the normal massage.

Our salon manager had a long discussion with him. After I told her about my experience, she said that several of the other stylists had mentioned that he was too touchy feely......trying to hug them and rubbing shoulders while they were on break. He even kissed one girl on top of her head.....
She told him that he needs to respect personal space boundaries, and to conduct himself as a professional.

:biggrin-new:

I've seen and heard (my own wife and daughter included) women complain after a mammogram about the pain. Would that kind of therapy help do you think if it was too bad? The pain I mean....

Hi everyone! Just popping in. I was selected for a jury yesterday, so I will be at the courthouse all the rest of the week.

Hope you all have a great week! I will try to stop by in the mornings, depending how efficiently I get everyone plus myself ready to go for the day.

Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:
Ew. Have a cookie.
