You seen n_n around at all? She mentioned something about taking a dip with Croco and I haven't seen her since. Croco was wearing quite the grin however......
Oh my! You really have to watch that boy!

But I'm sure Nottie can take care of herself!

Hiya, Neesy! Whew! All your posts are wearing me out! Hope you enjoy your day off!

We had a nice weekend with friends, so now back to the grind! LOL
Ooops - sorry!

It is a day off for us up here in Manitoba (and probably some other provinces as well).

Andy has been back up north now since July 8th.

So this week is a short one for me which is nice.

I started going back to the gym last week! I went every day right after work. (trying to firm up, so I do cardio plus work out with some weights as well) :flex:

I figure it will take at least six weeks before I notice any toning or definition, as I gave it up for quite a while, but I know it will come back to me as I used to go to the gym all the time.

How did the "Honey Do" list fair during your vacation? Get a few things crossed off that one did ya?:D
I didn't even bring it up. The heat does a number on him so figured it wasn't worth it.
About the only thing that I got done was visiting my daughter and SIL for the first weekend and then sewing the rest of the week. And finishing The City of Mirrors--almost forgot about that. I still haven't even completely switched out my winter/summer clothes but at this point I might as well not as it's August already so can just slide those storage containers back under the bed. Maybe that's why I didn't feel guilty because even with what little I did do, it was still more than the SO.

Thanks guys! I do believe it was just yesterday that Kat was a tiny baby. OoO, I have no answer for you.
I'm worried about her having to get on the bus by herself to start out. I think she will cry, but who knows.
Kaden got quite the haul for his birthday! He got $150 from his grand parents on my sil's side. So Karen, and Sam took him to the mall, and he got a Lego game for PS4 that he had to build parts of it to be able to play the game. I think it was the characters he had to put together, and then he puts them on a lighted platform, and that gives him the characters he wants to play. It is pretty neat.
He also got new headphones, since he keeps breaking his.
We had a party for them both last week. so both of them got lots of presents.

Sounds like you were busy, Marsha.

Sounds like a perfect vacation. Doing what you desire, when you desire, and not thinking twice about what should have been done. Life is too short. So glad you had a good time. How many more diapers do you need to sew?
Is City of Mirrors worth the read?

Have 6 more to finish up that are nearly done and then 16 that I haven't started to make the 36. If she can't manage with that many, she needs to do laundry more often! =D

I really liked City of Mirrors, especially after struggling through The Twelve, and would recommend it. I had a little trouble remembering some of the characters from the earlier books and didn't discover the list at the back of the book until I was nearly finished. :facepalm_smiley:

No strawberries? Are you mad???????:D:strawberry::D
We're not that much of a strawberry rhubarb pie family. :smile2: It's not that we don't like it, but it's not the go-to combination. Our recipe is called rhubarb custard but it's not the consistency of a regular custard pie as there are only 2-3 eggs along with a little nutmeg in with the recipe for the plain rhubarb pie.

Very frightening....never heard of rhubarb custard........sounds like some Civil War general or something. "Where's General Rhubarb Custard?.....I have a communique from The President for him........"

Next I suppose you'll say you make apple pie without the apples?:facepalm_smiley:
