Good morning! It is nice to be back! Glad to hear everyone had good vacations.

We had Scott's bday last week, and only a couple days of babysitting so I got a lot of stuff done in the house that needed done. We went camping over the weekend to a nearby lake with Brandon and Marti and the kids. Got caught in a nasty little storm as we were setting up camp, but managed to get both tents up before anyone was too wet. Then it started hailing and the lightning got bad so we all waited it out in the vehicles.

Got all chores done, most of the camping gear put away and the wash going this morning. Now I can rest a bit.

Have a checkup tomorrow, so get to fast tonight and in the morning. Blech. Having more frequent and longer lasting incidents where I hurt everywhere so guess I need to bring that up. My mom has fibromyalgia, I think I may be showing symptoms too.

Hope you all have a great day. Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:

Very frightening....never heard of rhubarb custard........sounds like some Civil War general or something. "Where's General Rhubarb Custard?.....I have a communique from The President for him........"

Next I suppose you'll say you make apple pie without the apples?:facepalm_smiley:
Silly--of course apple pie is made with apples, just like rhubarb custard pie is made with rhubarb and eggs but no strawberries.

Definitely should bring it up. My SO has fibromyalgia, too. I hope for your sake it's something else as it's a really tough condition to deal with as you know. And you have the added responsibilities with young children to deal with. (((Cat)))

Happy birthday to Scott! I hope you don't have fibro -- good vibes for a positive doc visit!

Sending out healing vibes.

Thanks everyone!! My limbs get to feeling so heavy and my bones feel like they are being squeezed really hard, that is when it is really bad. My skin is very sensitive to touch and sometimes, if I scratch at my leg, I can feel tingling on the opposite side. So there is definitely something going on. It has been going on for a couple years, but infrequently. Getting to be pretty often now. All the good vibes are most appreciated! :love_heart:

Every day is Halloween in my home. Minus the fun.

Trick or treat!!? ;;D

Did anyone watch Sharknado 4 last night. It was a hoot! One of the women
from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Brandy) was in the movie and one of
the girls from Vanderpump Rules too.

Of course!! I'm physically and emotionally exhausted........see Breaking News thread in other movies..

Hi there! Ive missed you all! Im sitting at a table planning a discovery trip to New Mexico. I have eight different books about New Mexico and Southern Colorado in front of me. Chaco Canyon is high on my priority list but there is a lot of other things. Starting off on wednesday. First stop Durango.
Seen some movies. The Martian and Lucy. The first was good, the second was watchable but not really good. And learned to play cribbage. Ive also read a crappy book, Neanderthal, about the discovers of a alive bunch of neanderthals in a remote Mountain range. Could have been so much more but it was not good. So Ive been busy but have been missing you a lot. So glad to see you again.

Enjoy your travels Kurben - what did you think of the tour? It looks like there were only around 10 or so of you this time around that could make it

Going to Durango? Don't need no steenkin badges (Treasure of Sierra Madre reference). Awesome.

Speaking of The Martian (which I dug the most) I kept waiting for him to turn some of them Martian potatoes into Martian vodka. I mean, he started dipping them in crushed vicodin in lieu of ketchup, so...maybe that was a deleted scene?

And the Starman song brought a tear to my eye.
