Hello everyone. I feel like I haven't been here in quite some time. Probably because I haven't. I've been sick with a nasty virus for about a week and a half now. Sick enough to miss some time at work. And one of the medications prescribed to me gave me an awful rash. It doesn't itch, but I am feeling quite... ugly. The rash covers the entire upper half of my body. Quite noticeable. I'm off the medication right now, but it will be a minute before the rash goes away. Not to mention that I had to get yet another different medication today to help me feel better and that set my recovery back and added to my expenses.

Of course, I don't want to just sit here and whine. I think that maybe the bartender in this here Cantina could whip me up a nice Old Fashioned. That would be just the ticket. Especially since I am tired of drinking nothing but plain old water.

Back from my interview. It went great!! She was impressed with my earlier work. Said that she would have to anchor the projctidea about a threeyear project before saying anything definite but she was all for it. If, i'm saying IF, she gets a green light, i will have a job doing what i'm really good at and love doing. Not permanent but thats not to be expected but three or even two year is a great thing. I so hope it works out.

Try buying something called Aveeno Oatmeal at the drug store - you put a packet of it in the bath tub with warm water and soak in it - that should soothe your itchy rash ((((jacob))))

I am on my lap top and it's really hard to type properly on this thing so I guess I should sign off - I am just watching some telly in my bedroom then probably will have a soak in the tub with some Epsom salts.

That stuff worked wonders when my son had rashes when he was very young Neesy. I'd put him in the tub when he was scratching real bad and mix in a packet of Aveeno Oatmeal. Just about every time he'd be splashing and playing by the end of the bath, you could tell his skin felt better. Neesy is right on with that recommendation. My mom told me about it when I asked her about my son's skin rashes, yet once again proving girls are smart and I'm dumb....

Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was our anniversary. 16 whole years! We went to PT and then had a nice lunch out. We are ditching the kids () tomorrow night, Brandon and Marti are taking them for the night. Scott is grilling us a steak and potatoes. Yum!

It was a nice day all the way around.

The weather has been beautiful here. 62 yesterday and supposed to be that or very near that for the next week. (Sorry, everyone up in the NE. I will share!)

Our new little Cookie is one big personality. She is doing great, she and Felix have made friends. She is going to be one of those "oh, there is a *fill on the blank* laying there on the coffee table/counter/wherever...I think I'll just knock that right off on the floor for you" kind of cat. Last night she entertained herself for an hour with one piece of Dusty's dog food. Carried it around in her mouth then tossed her head and let it go, then batted it around a while, picked it up and repeat...so funny! She is quite a character!
