Well - guess what [drum roll] - I got it!

She called me today for another interview

I did not tell her that I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die :butterfly::):m_adore: however I think this is going to be a really good area of the hospital to work in.

I like the manager which is a great start!

Thanks to everyone for all the good wishes :haha:

She did say something like "Don't listen to those guys" and sort of gestured toward the workers outside of her office :laugh:

I think she'll be a 'goodun' as a supervisor :adoration:

She knows about my 'sins of the past' in the fact that there were times when my attendance was sub-par but I feel that now I will be doing a more practical and essential job.

It is not just mail delivery - we go all over the hospital delivering baby formula, drugs, test results etc.

I am looking forward to getting back in better shape :m_applause:

Sunday.... The positive thing is that today starts a new season of a favourite show of mine. Mästarnas Mästare (about The Champions Champion) where 12 different champions of their sports meet and compete in a friendly manner in things totally unrelated to the sports they once where champion in. The competitions are usually imaginative and fun and at the end of each program one loses and must leave. The must fun is actually the conversations between the champs about absolutely everything. Some turn out to be rather boring, some like practical jokes, some have a horrendous taste in music and so on. You get to know the person in another way. It is a charming show and one of few i actually follow.
The negative thing about today is that tomorrow is monday......

Toot? - too much chili?

:D:haha::bad_smelly::smile_002:

Speaking of Annie and people like her - I do have to get a Criminal Records Check and a Child Abuse Registry Check - I'll have to go downtown to see the local police and pay for that myself.

p.s. I was so happy at first and now I am starting to feel a wee bit of anxiety [for some strange reason]

I can't wait to tell Dave, the trainer at the gym - he will be so happy - he told me years ago to get out of that job where I sit all day:oh:

And Annie Wilkes cousin and all.... Might be tricky to be connected to her..................
Haha - that is cute - my old manager told the new one that they were going to put me on the ASAP program which stands for Attendance Support Assistance Program (which was news to me)

I guess I missed a few days back in November and December - anyway this was news to me, as the last I had heard from her my attendance had shown a good improvement and we did not need to meet. She said she would advise me by e-mail, which never did happen.

Perhaps she was trying to scare off the new manager - she's sneaky that way!
:chargrined::shame_pig:

(I was on the verge of quitting and just going on a pension - thank goodness the new job popped up and sort of gave me "hope" for the future)

We have that show as well it's called "ewige Helden/ everlasting heroes". :biggrin-new:
Today comes a show about emigrants who left Germany for a better living. Today it's about a couple living in LA they sell German food there. Guess they will dramatize it a bit but it's fun watching it anyway.

I wanted to wish Mr. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd a very happy birthday today. IMHO he is the greatest guitarist of all time and seems to be a very decent guy during his interviews. The melancholy that comes out in his singing and guitar playing is simply, purely, amazing. Happy birthday sir and many, many more.

Happy B-Day, Mr. Gilmour ♥
Always loved Pink Floyd. That is one of my favorite songs from them. I can't listen to some of their songs without crying anymore.....especially Wish You Were Here.....they remind me so much of my brother.
