Nope. Sex has to be consensual in Neganland. A man raping a woman is subject to immediate death.

He took Dwight's wife. You feel she's with him willingly? And didn't he give Dwight permission to have sex with whoever he wants? As a reward.

A woman will "consent" if she feels her life or that of a loved one is at risk.

Again, not sure whether that was a spoiler or not for someone who may not be caught up with the episodes but adding the spoiler tag just in case.

Also, I might be wrong on this but didn't...

Negan threaten to rape a woman under Rick’s protection in Sunday's episode?

Permission, "If she says yes." He was clear about that. And I agree about
Negan's shaky personal moral ground. As far as the people in his compound go, though, he's very straightforward. There must be real consent or death is the price.

Nope.
He wanted to see Maggie and offer his 'comfort'. It's a power thing to him, and that 's what I meant about his shaky moral ground. Coercion doesn't count to him if it's him doing the coercing. He wouldn't rape her forcibly--he gets off on feeling powerful. Heck, he probably genuinely thinks these women came to him because he's so magnetic or something. Personal blindspots aren't that unusual with powerful people (witness every H-wood 60+ fat cat that thinks 20 year old women fall all over them because they're just so irresistible--lol).

You think Dwight's wife truly wanted to say yes? I completely disagree.
No, he said that to Dwight.
I did say that Negan has a troubling personal morality. His 'wives' are a different situation from what he expects from his men. It's completely possible that to his mind she's okay with it because she proposed the arrangement. Or maybe he doesn't apply his rules to himself. Or his ego is so huge that he believes all the women can't resist him. Or he just gets off on the power and really doesn't give a crap. He's not a nice guy. The point was that he DOES have rules for his people.

Well, I just finished Negan and crew's first visit to Alexandria.

If someone does not kick those pearly whites down Negan's throat PDQ I am going to have to just wait for summaries. I cannot bear much more of all that nastiness coming from my sweet Jeffrey Dean.

I am already turning off the sound and reading subtitles because I cannot stand to hear the sneering snideness.

Expect to see Mr. Morgan nominated for an Emmy fer sure fer sure.

I absolutely agree he has rules. But I do not agree that his rules do not allow rape. Just because in his sick mind it's consensual does not mean it is. Most rapists don't think they are doing anything wrong/think they have the right to do what they're doing.

Going by the comics, consent is required amongst his people. His personal morality is shaky. No idea what's going to happen in the TV show.
