I am watching this as my summer "indulgence" show. Normally, Matt Dillon's wooden acting turns me off. He can only play "Tex" so many times before I vomit.

What the hell is outside that fence? Are they in some jurassic park sort of situation? And there are still aspects that remind me of The Tommyknockers.
And if the situation is one where they want him to stay with his family, why don't they just come clean and tell him what is going on? If there is something dangerous outside those walls, he's an intelligent guy, he'd want to keep his family safe.

I'm having trouble understanding what the heck is going on. I'm going to watch the third episode and decide to either stay or vamonos.
Count me in! I've read the entire series and really enjoyed it! There's also an upcoming series that starts June 1st called the Whispers(spooky) that I want to see as well!

I just finished the last book in the trilogy. If the show stays pretty close to the novels, then I think you guys will like it. I really liked the books.

They also have the paperbacks, but they're much more expensive.
