Some of my favorite people are watching this--you guys have me intrigued! I'm going to look it up on Hulu tonight & hope the first one is still there :p
I've read all three books--really loved them, and it's interesting to see how the show compares.
The first 4 episodes are on Fox.com. Go to "Full Episodes" and scroll down near the bottom to the Ws.

So far this is the most intriguing thing to me...

The time differences for each person. Fro Ethan, it was only a day or two, but to his wife and son it was a few more days. For Kate, it had been 12 years, but only 5 weeks outside there. For Bill Evans it had been 2 years but the same amount of time as Kate's disappearance essentially. Beverly thought she had been there about a year, but it had been 14 years outside. Peter McCall also had a similar opposite time displacement where it had been longer than he thought. It seems each person's time displacement is inconsistent with others.

The other thing I noticed is that everyone (that you have any details about) there seems to be a "cheater" of some sort. Maybe the word "Wayward" makes sense then?

I noticed the time differences as well, but hadn't made the "cheater" connection.....
The numbers on the front of Peter's file have to mean something, but what?
The "doctor" in Wayward Pines is allowed to come and go.....I caught him meeting with Ethan's supervisor in episode 2. What does he know? and does Pam have the same privileges?

I had not noticed the "cheater" commonality -Thanks for discussing that one.

From the preview of the next episode, it looks like they may finish the first book in that one, or maybe one more? It's kinda hard to tell because the show isn't matching up to the novels in some aspects. You know, if ratings are good, they'll go a whole different way if they feel they can squeeze some more episodes out of it.
