Crud. I thought I was all caught up but I haven't watched last nights episode. I was wondering what Hoss was talking about.

Well, I haven't watched the last episode but I was wondering

Is Wayward Pines purgatory? Do the people/cheaters condemn their family to suffering along with themselves for their *sins*?

I'm enjoying The Whispers! Although

Little, evil, weird kids creep me out.

Watch the latest episode. Things will become quite clear. It's awesome!

I started it a couple of nights ago. Weird, weird show. I've only watched 2 so far, but I'll keep watching :)

You will NOT be dissappointed in what the secret is...

There's a reason that the teacher was/is a psycho hypnotist.....and that will have to tie into why the children have been "chosen".......
Looks like Ethan was also "chosen", but I'm still not clear on why.
The thing about the time difference that still bothers me, is that I know I saw David Pilcher talking to Ethan's supervisor in Seattle after he woke up in Wayward Pines......has he figured out a way to time travel?

I've given this some thought. My guess is the books explain this better, but it also looks like this will be the main topic in upcoming episodes. How many would be angry fro being taken from their lives to be preserved for this experiment? How many would try to leave only to be killed? It seems a project like this would require all resources reserved and letting people go nutty with this knowledge burden or want to rule the roost themselves, is a big factor why. Knowing everything isn't always a good thing.

Just watched the first episode...interesting but a little strange...reminds me of The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan in the mid 1960s...

I just watched the first five episodes yesterday. The first episode reminded me of The Prisoner too :) The second episode reminded me of The Stepford Wives and the third episode reminded me of Under The Dome lol.

I haven't gotten to see this last episode yet. Not sure what is going on, and why won't they just tell him?

I don't understand why they arn't just telling people why either. If I was held captive in a town, seperated from my family, I'd do everything I could to escape. Telling me the reason why seems more logical (and kind) than the reckoning.

Yes, but the reckonong is more intimadating. Besides, if they just said so it would be a really short season.

That's true lol

This series is really disturbing me. It keeps invading my thoughts and it depresses me :( One of the things that strangely depressed me the most was that
2095 quarter.
Just saw that episode. We were gobsmacked to say the least. I like that such a big reveal wasn't kept back for ages. I think instead of keeping people in the dark, I think it should be more about keeping the devoluted humans out and rebuilding society. Loving it.

I still think "the truth" is a hoax.....

Finally got caught up last night. I said exactly this to my hubby. So is it a different dimension or are they some place other than Idaho?

No, they are...
2000 years in the future. Back in our time, people were chosen to be inserted into the cryo-chambers and then awoken in groups over time to repopulate the earth with the non-evolved species of humans from our time. The time differences are just based on when they were awoken. The scenes from modern day were flashbacks of what happened, not parallel scenes.
